Copenhagen

(June 12, 2004) This set of pictures are taken nearby the hostel where we stayed (except for the first one: it was taken at the airport). We arrived at around eleven o'clock at night and we could not believe our own eyes... It was actually getting dark! As deprivees of lightless (a side effect of spending the summer in Finland), we couldn't remember the last time we had seen stars in the sky. After checking-in at the hostel, we'd decided to go for a walk in the neighborhood, and perhaps for a pint or two at a bar.

A potpourri of random shots
The moment we walk out of the airport what do we (not) see? The SUN is not where it used to be! It's dark! :)
An empty street on our way to the hostel.
Hmm.. This place needs some serious cleaning.

Interesting choice of colour
A star!
Having a Carlsberg. I used to not drink it, but I'm beginning to like it more.

The view from the top was absolutely fantastic, as you can see in the following pictures.

Rosenborg Castle: For some reason, I wasn't too impressed by it. The garden around the castle however was really nice. Unfortunately, I didn't take a single picture of the garden. Oops.
After quickly visiting Malmo in Sweden, we were back to where we started from. I took a cold shower that day because the hostel's water boiler was broken. Awesome.
